Venezia con C.J.

C.J. and I woke up at 3:30 am to catch the train to Venice. We arrived around 9 and spent the entire afternoon getting lost, taking pictures, eating, and feeding the pigeons. Venice is a beautiful city, but, like C.J said, "It is best to look up and out" and not directly underneath you. Venice is slowly corroding and there are far too many dogs with neglectful owners. So perhaps it is better to look below, just in case you step in a Venetian dog poo.

By this time, C.J. was used to walking for hours at a time and we had no problem entertaining ourselves. We rode a childrens' roller coaster, which, aside from the illegal pigeon feeding, was my favorite part of the day trip. When we returned to Florence we watched our daily dose of Flight of the Conchords. C.J. has kindly left both seasons 1 and 2 in my care until I return to gli stati uniti. Grazie fratello di mio.
